Where to stay

There have been some big changes announced to the campsite for Leeds Festival 2025. As a camping festival, you’ll most likely stay on site, in one of the following camping areas:

The Fields

This is open to everyone, a lively atmosphere, party vibes, and you can choose to either be close to the stages and the action or find a quieter spot further away.

The Garden

A quieter campsite, this is a location that is much more relaxed, is quiet after 1am, and has daytime activities such as yoga and meditation.

The Meadow

An eco-camp, this space is for those looking to reduce their impact on the environment. To stay here you must sign up to respect the environment, your fellow campers, and to leave the site as you found it.

The Grove

Inclusivity, respect, and a positive environment are the key tenets of this site. It’s designed in partnership with Safer Spaces Now, supported by gender-inclusive teams to create a safe environment. Expect open mics, films, and karaoke.
The Valley

If you are on your own or in a pair, the valley is the place to be. It’s a space that provides you with some ‘me time’ and gives you a chance to meet other festival-goers in the same boat as you, to make new friends, and create new memories.

Alternatively, if you have a day ticket or want to stay in Leeds and travel in every day, there are plenty of hotels, hostels, and short-term accommodation options in the city for you to explore. You can go to one of the top breakfast spots in Leeds before heading out to the festival for the day.

Tips for Leeds Festival 2025

Here are some of our big tips for Leeds Festival 2025, now that you know the basics of what to expect and how to get to the festival this summer.

Whether it’s your first time at a music festival or you’re an old-hand by now but want to jog your memory, here are some of the basics:

• Remember your ID — for entry into the festival bring along a photo ID, whether this is a driving license or a passport.
• Tickets — keep checking that you’ve got your ticket sorted and available to show at the entry gate. If you can’t access your ticket, you won’t get in.
• Your phone — it’s unlikely that you’d go anywhere without your phone, but it would be horrible if you did forget. For directions, tickets, access to stay in touch with your mates, and to take loads of photos, it’s important!
• Money — make sure you have enough money on your card and in your accounts. If you are bringing cash with you as a safeguard, keep it safe in a purse or wallet that’s on your person at all times.
• Camping gear — if you are staying all weekend and camping, double check you have everything you need, including tent, sleeping bag, blanket, and pillows.
• Water bottle — it can get pretty hot at a festival if the weather is nice, and even if not, it’s important to have a re-fillable water bottle that will keep you hydrated throughout the weekend.
• Sunscreen — it’s important to protect against the sun and UV rays. Lather on the sunscreen each day, as you’ll be out in the open sun for most of the day.
