As we mentioned above, Foundry Studios is located literally right across the road from a bus station, and a mere 7 minutes’ walk from Lancaster Train Station, making getting to Uni a breeze – it’s just half an hour on the bus from your apartment to Lancaster University!

As the host to one of the UK’s top universities, Lancaster itself is a buzzing, cosmopolitan city, with a thriving LGBT community, an abundance of live music and a nightlife to rival any city in the country. Compact and easy to get around, you’ll have no trouble following the action, whether you’re drinking in the nightlife or shopping in the city’s quirky boutique stores and independent shops before a visit to the high street on Penny Street, St. Nic’s and Marketgate.

Once the shopping is done (or if it’s the day after the big night out) you can relax in one of Lancaster’s many cafes and coffee shops, where local flavour and international style meet.
