Okay, so this is quite a unique attraction in Bristol which again reveals a little of its history.

This small plot of land is located in Stokes Croft and has been called by some to be protected as a national heritage site.

It was once the home of The Shoe Warehouse, however, in 1940 it was destroyed in The Blitz bombing raid.

Now, it might just be a mud patch with the occasional tossed sleeping bag and mattress, but to those who visit here, it is an area which conserves Bristol’s anarchic nightlife

It might only be a place for a fleeting visit, but if you’re looking to uncover a little of Bristol’s character, then this is the place you want to go.

4. Paddle Boarding

Just want a taster session? Well, you can! For just £30, you could learn the basics of the strokes and be standing up and paddling by the end of the session.

If you’re looking for something a little more cultural (we clearly can’t get enough of it) then definitely opt for the Harbourside Adventure
